Dream IT, Believe IT, Create IT

Background

Since 1998 I’ve been working in what I refer to “human services”.

In 2005 I headed to Toronto, ON on a work contract working in a sub-ghetto where my passion for life skills and coaching started to grow. I was amazed at how much you could engage people of all walks, backgrounds, and socio economic classes using coaching tools. I was able to take my previous life learnings, educations, and this new training and see significant results in the people I was working with. My contract was renewed a few times but needed to head back to Vancouver, BC to get my show on the road.

In 2007 I started my ICF certification process with MentorCoach in Maryland, WA and then moved over to Erickson Intl Coaching Institute in 2009. I’ve been working with clients since 2007 and now have over 1500 hours in coaching clients and love every moment of it.

I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing community members and professionals around the world and take great pride in the phenomenal people that surround my life and work.

Over the last four years I’m privileged to say that have I been instructed, mentored, and coached by four Master ICF coaches in which has honed and developed my skills. I recently just started my Masters degree in Leadership.

When I’m not coaching, facilitating workshops, writing, or working on theĀ Passion Foundation, you’ll probably find me playing with my favourite little friend Lucy (yes think Lucille Ball), family, friends, writing, painting, hiking, doing yoga, traveling, or cooking. I also recently took up running and will be running my first half marathon in June 2013.

Life has too much too offer to sit in front of the television. I take each of my life roles (chosen and given) seriously but not so much so that it impedes on other areas. Family time is just as important as my art as is my work as is learning and the arts. Sometimes you’ll even see me walking Lucy and I’m hmmm-ing away to my iPod and smiling.
